ASSOCIATION/EVENT MANAGER FOR THE WILLOW GROUP
The person we are seeking must have well-established
experience in the
following:
• Project/event management
• Association management
• Large scale conference management
• Exceptional client relation skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Expert computer skills
• Enthusiastic attitude and ability to work independently
• Problem solving abilities, independent decision-making
skills
• Ability to work with and assist non-profit associations
and Boards
• A team player with excellent multi-tasking skills, who
thrives in a busy
environment
• Bilingualism is preferred.
In brief, the major responsibilities
of this position are:
• To assist with all aspects of association
management ‹ such
as member
services, Board requirements, professional development activities,
database
management, participation in Board meetings and minute recording,
plus
administrative and logistical support.
• To manage a training
event or conference including budget, logistics,
program development, marketing and promotion, registration,
evaluation/assessment.
The position requires a mature individual
who is extremely reliable with the
commitment to take pride and ownership in all projects
and initiatives. They
must ensure that all work responsibilities are completed
within tight
timeframes and that the work performed is outstanding.
Some travel may be
required from time to time.
