Responsibilities: Kathy is the Founder and CEO of The Willow Group, and is responsible for working with the management team to establish the goals and future direction of the firm.
Background: Since establishing The Willow Group in 1988, through Kathy’s expertise and vision, she has grown the company into one of the largest Association Management and Event Management firms in Canada, with extensive in-house services and a full-time staff to support all of The Willow Group’s clients effectively.
During the growth of The Willow Group, Kathy fulfilled all services requested by clients, from processing memberships and event registrations to researching and creating an association. Because of her hands-on experience in all association and event management functions, she is well versed in accounting and finance, business and strategic planning, marketing and promotion, tradeshow management and sales, administration and operations. As a result of her involvement with all of The Willow Group’s associations and clients, she has many years of valuable corporate knowledge.
